Three people were injured Thursday in Visalia after a three-car pileup in which one vehicle turned onto its side, the Visalia Fire Department said.
Battalion Chief Darrin Hughes said the woman driving the vehicle that rolled over and the driver of a second vehicle sustained moderate to severe injuries. A woman in a third car sustained minor injuries. Ambulances transported all three to Kaweah Delta Medical Center.
The crash occurred just before 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Akers Road and Walnut Avenue. Hughes said the cause of the accident is under investigation by the Visalia Police Department.
