A fire broke that broke out Wednesday at a vacant Visalia home caused an estimated $80,000 worth in damage.
The fire started in a single story home at 2430 N. Court Street with heavy fire showing from one side of the house and threatening an adjacent home.
The cause of the fire is undetermined, but it seems suspicious, the Visalia Fire Department said.
Firefighters contained the fire in about 20 minutes, the fire department said.
One neighbor was transported to Kaweah Delta Medical Center with minor smoke inhalation after trying to help firefighters extinguish the fire.
