2 CHP officers killed in Highway 99 crash near Kingsburg

Two California Highway Patrol officers were killed in the pre-dawn hours Monday when they slammed into a guardrail and then a freeway exit sign as they responded to a collision on Highway 99 in Kingsburg. They are the first CHP officers from Fresno to die in the line of duty in half a century.
