Temperatures in Yosemite were expected to fall to around 28 degrees by 4p.m, according to the National Weather Service. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches are possible in Yosemite.

At a news conference Monday, Madera police Chief Dino Lawson said the shooting happened about 7:30 p.m. Sunday when the boy, Leonardo Demetrio Morales, was riding in the car with his dad. He said a vehicle pulled up to the father and son’s vehicle and someone fired multiple rounds into their car as they were southbound on Tozer Avenue.
Monday marked the first day of Fresno’s new bus rapid transit system, called FAX Q, which stands for "quick" and “quiet." The buses, running on natural gas and painted in a distinctive light blue, will run along Kings Canyon to downtown, then up Blackstone to Woodward Park and back.
The Fresno Tattoo Convention was in town this weekend, drawing many to the Fresno Fairgrounds for ink, a lowrider car show, even a marionette show on stage alongside tattoo artists from throughout the state.
