A sexually violent predator has been released from Coalinga State Hospital and will live east of Fresno, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office reported Thursday.
Michael Fellows, 69, has registered as a sex offender but is not wanted on any charges. In a news release, the Sheriff’s Office said it wanted to alert the public so residents know to protect themselves and children from sex offenders.
Fellows was released Oct. 31 without conditions, meaning he can live anywhere as long as he doesn’t violate sex offender laws. Fellows will reside at 1772 N. Fancher Ave., an address he has registered with the Sheriff’s Office. He also is listed on the Megan’s Law website.
In the past, Fellows would enter women’s public restrooms then expose himself and force himself on them, the Sheriff’s Office said.
None of the crimes Fellows was convicted of occurred in Fresno County, the Sheriff’s Office said.
