A hit-and-run collision involving three cars is causing slowed traffic and closures at the eastbound Highway 180 on-ramp onto the northbound Highway 99.
A white sedan was reportedly driving recklessly when it struck another vehicle, causing it to veer into a pickup truck that overturned about 5 p.m. Sunday, said Raul Gonzalez of the Fresno County California Highway Patrol.
The driver of the sedan fled, and CHP officers are searching for the suspect.
Traffic is slowed from Fresno Street to the scene of the accident and the on-ramp from east 180 to north 99 is closed.
Debris from the back of the truck consisting of clothes, trash and power tools blocked the right lane on Highway 99.
