A fire burned through a Visalia home Sunday causing more than $100,000 in damage, the Visalia Fire Department said.
Firefighters were dispatched at 7:23 p.m. to the house at 4730 W. College Ave.
Smoke was coming from the home when they arrived. Crews went inside, and the fire was under control within 20 minutes, the Fire Department said.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but the fire originated in the attic above one of the front bedrooms.

One person was home at the time, but he escaped before firefighters arrived.
The estimated damage was to the home is $100,000, and there was approximately $5,000 damage to the contents.
