Fresno and Visalia homebuilders had a busy summer, but looks like the building scene is slowing down as we hit the end of the year.
Builders in Fresno pulled 38 single-family building permits in November, up slightly from 31 in October, according to the city’s latest monthly building report. Last year at this time, the city of Fresno issued 131 building permits.
In Visalia, builders pulled 18 permits last month compared to 45 in October. A year ago, 34 permits were issued for the construction of new homes.
