Granville Homes is building in Clovis for the first time in more than a decade.
The homebuilder opened sales on its Whisper Creek neighborhood, on the corner of Teague and Armstrong avenues, near Clovis Community Medical Center, on Saturday morning. Ten homes sold in the first three hours, the Granville team said. A buyer even showed up on Friday evening to get first pick.
Only 14 of the 31 lots at Whisper Creek were available for sale in the first phase of development. An interest list is already forming for the second phase.
The Whisper Creek homes will be built on three-quarters of an acre. The houses will range in size from 2,823 to 4,162 square feet with up to a five-car garage.
Each house will include Granville Eco-Smart Technology and a Tech Smart security package with an alarm system, smart keyless entry, mobile monitoring, lighting adjustment and an interior camera. Prices will start in the $600,000s.
