The president of London Properties was tickled pink on Wednesday while celebrating his company’s effort to raise about $2,900 for breast cancer research.
Patrick Conner even dyed his dark hair pink — actually sprayed it — in a deal he made with the fundraising team if it collected at least $2,500.
“It’s for a good cause,” Conner said as he walked around the Fresno office in a light pink dress shirt and pink tie.
More than a dozen of London’s office managers also wore pink to celebrate the company’s success in its first Making Strides for Breast Cancer campaign.
The Fresno real estate company raised an impressive amount its first year out and was among the top three teams that raised the most, an American Cancer Society representative said.
Known as the London Properties Bosom Buddies, the team rallied agents, brokers and friends to donate or participate in the Woodward Park breast cancer walk.
Team members collected loose change, recycled cans for money and held a raffle.
Realtor Tiffany Henes raised more than $1,000 herself. She donated 100% of the money she made from a side business cleaning dog teeth.
