A Fresno property management company is raising money for an autism charity.
GSF Properties will hold a fundraiser called, “Evening Under the Stars,” from 7 to 10 p.m. Oct. 17 at Englemann Cellars, 3275 N. Rolinda Ave. Tickets are $30.
The company hopes to raise more than $10,000 by the end of the year for Families for Effective Autism Treatment, a nonprofit that helps families with children who have autism.
This is GSF’s second annual fundraiser event, but the company’s fifth year of community service, said Dan McCoy, vice president operations.
“GSF Properties’ four core values are excellence, leadership, service and community,” McCoy said. “Service is something we are very passionate about. We touch a lot of people’s lives every day by providing them with homes. We feel that giving back to the communities where those homes are located is a natural progression for us.”
Last year, GSF’s three districts — Bakersfield, Fresno, and Merced/Modesto — raised more than $32,000 for Alzheimer’s. About $7,000 came from the fundraiser.
Each district chose its own local charity to support this year. Bakersfield will raise money for the Society for Disabled Children of Kern County and Merced chose Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
Tickets are available at the company office on 7355 N. Palm Ave., Ste. 105. For more information, visit teamgsfgivesback.ticketleap.com or call (559) 440-1974.
