Fresno foreclosure activity fell in May

Foreclosure activity in Fresno County fell slightly in May compared to the month before when foreclosures increased for the first time this year, according to PropertyRadar’s monthly foreclosure report.

 

In Fresno, 217 notices of default, the first step in the foreclosure process, were filed last month compared to 228 in April.

 

The notices of sales, which set the date and time of an auction, fell to 143 notices in May from 158 the month before.
