Tornino’s Banquets, a local family-owned event venue, is celebrating 35 years in Fresno – and sporting renovated facilities available for weddings, banquets, quinceañeras and other private events.
Owner and executive chef Michael Torcaso has been cooking at the venue since it first opened in the early 1980s.
“Not much has changed,” he said. “Our service is still the same, we’re still family owned, and we’re established in the community.”
Although Torcaso said the business itself has remained true to its origins, the facility has undergone many renovations, from new carpets and chairs to more energy-efficient lighting and heating.

Tornino’s is near Blackstone and Shaw avenues and has space to serve anywhere from 50 to 450 guests.
