Narativ, a new public relations firm in Fresno, opened Monday with a goal of helping local businesses tell their stories.
Owner and founder Tanya Osegueda has 13 years of experience in public relations and marketing, and decided to branch out on her own to help Fresno businesses succeed.
“I’ve been talking to business owners for the past year about their needs and wants,” Osegueda said. “I thought, ‘I could be what they need and what they’re missing.’ ”
Narativ was designed to elevate businesses that need help telling their stories – or that don’t think their story is worth telling.
Never miss a local story.
Osegueda plans on helping business owners develop clear goals and objectives, and then building maps to help them get there, providing support along the way. Narativ offers marketing, advertising, social media, event planning and strategic communication services.
Despite launching less than a week ago, the company already has several clients, including a larger central San Joaquin Valley construction business.
So far, word of mouth has helped bring attention to Narativ, Osegueda said. She has plans to help businesses build partnerships with community figures, other organizations and ultimately help target the right people.
“I’m really relying on my history in Fresno,” she said. “Most businesses don’t need to be in front of everybody; they just need to be in front of the right people.”
Osegueda said she was inspired by the strong women she met in the advertising and public relations industry, and used their success as inspiration to go out on her own. She plans on standing apart by helping her clients personally and thoroughly in their efforts to grow and reach their full potentials.
