O’Reilly Auto Parts, one of the largest specialty retailers of automotive aftermarket parts, is celebrating the grand opening of its newest Fresno store, 1401 N. Blackstone Ave., south of McKinley Avenue.
The store’s grand opening will run from May 12-26. As part of the celebration, there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, May 16 at 9 a.m. Store Manager Hugo Zarate, on behalf of the entire company, will present a $200 check to Marjoree Mason Center.
Founded in 1957 by the O’Reilly family, the company operates over 4,200 stores in 42 states. Last year, the company opened 200 stores nationwide. There are 11 stores in Fresno. This year, the company plans to open 205 stores. Overall, O’Reilly is the third-largest auto parts franchise in the United States with 4,311 stores in 43 states, as of Sept. 30. Advance Auto Parts is the largest auto parts retailer, followed by AutoZone.
