A free workshop for small businesses will be held Wednesday in Visalia with information on business opportunities with California’s high-speed rail project and other state agencies.
The workshop is 9 a.m. to noon at the Employment Connection office, 4025 W. Noble Ave. Information from the California High-Speed Rail Authority, the state’s General Services, Transportation and Veterans Affairs departments, and the U.S. Small Business Administration will provide information available on how companies can get certified as small businesses or veteran-, women- or minority-owned businesses, marketing products and services to the state, which departments need what services, and other details of doing business with the state.
Space for the workshop is limited. Reservations are available by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org including the attendee’s full name, business name, address and telephone number.
