The city of Clovis has changed its laws to allow beer and wine tasting rooms to operate within Old Town Clovis.
In the past, such businesses had to be part of a restaurant or bar to do tastings.
The change was driven by the growing popularity of microbreweries and independent wine makers. It goes into effect in early March.
To celebrate, Old Town Clovis will host a Craft Beer Crawl on April 19. The event will feature microbrewery beer tastings, a home brewing contest, food trucks, live music and a facial hair contest.
