BALLINGER, CHARLES PRESTON -- Services for Charles Preston Ballinger, 79, of Selma will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Page Funeral Chapel. Mr. Ballinger, a heavy-machine operator, died Friday. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel.

BRENNEMAN, KENNETH -- A celebration of life service for Kenneth Brenneman, 83, of Fresno will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church. Mr. Brenneman, a retired insurance agent for General Motors, died Saturday. Remembrances may be sent to Evangel Home, 137 N. Yosemite, Fresno, CA 93721, or First Presbyterian Church, 1540 M St., Fresno, CA 93721. Arrangements are by Chapel of the Light Funeral Home.

BURNS, SAMUEL AUGUST JR. --Private services for Samuel August Burns Jr., 85, of North Fork are by Palm Memorial Sierra Chapel in Oakhurst. Mr. Burns, an equipment operator, died May 22.

CASTILLO, JOHNNY H. -- Services for Johnny H. Castillo, 64, of Tulare will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Peers Lorentzen Funeral Chapel. Mr. Castillo, a forklift operator, died Friday. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. today at the chapel.

EDDINGS, BOB -- Graveside services for Bob Eddings, 72, of Madera will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Arbor Vitae Cemetery. Mr. Eddings, a laborer, died Friday. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 8 to 10 a.m. Thursday at Jay Chapel.

FREITAS, ANGELINA -- A rosary for Angelina Freitas, 87, of Fresno will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday and Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Jude Catholic Church in Easton. Mrs. Freitas, a homemaker, died Sunday. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Remembrances may be sent to the donor's favorite charity. Arrangements are by Jay Chapel in Madera.

GARZA, MANUEL -- A rosary for Manuel Garza, 64, of Omaha, Neb., formerly of Tulare, will be recited at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Peers Lorentzen Funeral Chapel in Tulare. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Rita's Catholic Church in Tulare. Mr. Garza, a foreman for the oil industry, died Friday.

GOODSON, AVA -- Graveside services for Ava Goodson, 87, of Kerman will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Fresno Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Goodson, a homemaker, died Friday. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Palm Memorial Kerman Chapel.

GRIGSBY, ROYCE DONALD -- Graveside services for Royce Donald Grigsby, 81, of Fresno will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Belmont Memorial Park. Mr. Grigsby, a retired U.S. Postal Service clerk, died Saturday. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday at Yost & Webb Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Sterling & Smith Funeral Directors.
