A Tulare County jury Thursday convicted a Fresno gang member of kidnapping during a January 2008 robbery in Porterville.
Ricky Lucero could receive life in prison when he is sentenced July 30, Vickie Coelho of the Tulare County District Attorney's Office said.Lucero was one of four gang members who burst through the front door of N&S Chevron in the 900 block of East Teapot Dome, dragged the clerk into the back of the store and beat him, fracturing the victim's skull.
