The Visalia Police Department's bomb-disposal robot retrieves a suspicious duffel bag under one of the front tires of a police car parked in the Tulare County Courthouse parking lot Thursday morning. The robot transferred the duffel bag to the bomb-disposal unit. The parking lot was cordoned off by police, keeping many who had business at the courthouse waiting to return to their cars. The entire situation lasted a little more than an hour until the disposal unit had transported the suspicious package off-site.
