Flag-raising ceremony today
Fresno State will hold a Veterans Day flag-raising ceremony at 11:45 a.m. today at the University Flagpoles southeast of the Thomas Administration Building. The event will honor students and employees who are veterans and will include a speech by Tanya Crabb, a U.S. Marine veteran who saw active duty in Operation Desert Storm and is now a counselor for University Outreach Services.

Fresno City College will hold extreme registration 4-8 p.m. Wednesday-Friday and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday in the cafeteria, 1101 E. Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks will give free visitor admission to U.S. veterans, active members of the U.S. armed forces and their families Tuesday.
