Fresno State's third annual Give a Gobbler campaign to help feed hungry families this holiday season begins Monday.

The effort is intended to help less-fortunate families during difficult economic times. This year's goal is 200 turkeys, half to be donated by Thanksgiving and half by Christmas.

Donors can purchase a Fresno State student-produced turkey for $25 at Gibson Farm Market on the Fresno State campus to be distributed to a family.

Donors also can send a check to CSUF Agricultural Foundation addressed to Director, Agricultural Operations, 2385 E. Barstow Ave., AG85, Fresno, CA 93740, indicating the Poverello House or Community Food Bank as the recipient.

Details: Call the Gibson Farm Market at (559) 278-4511.
