A funeral service for Lance Cpl. Alfonso Ochoa Jr., the 20-year-old Marine from Armona killed in Afghanistan, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Christian Reformed Church in Hanford.

Burial will follow at the Grangeville Cemetery in Armona, said a spokeswoman for the People's Funeral Chapel in Hanford. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the church.

Ochoa, who married about six months ago, was killed Oct. 10 by a roadside bomb about a week before he was to be reassigned to a base in Hawaii.
