Two people were arrested -- one of them a 17-year-old girl from Madera -- during a DUI saturation patrol Saturday night in Visalia, police said.
The girl was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, police said.
Also arrested was 18-year-old Edgar Figueroa of Visalia, who was held on suspicion of possessing a loaded firearm, police said.
Visalia police issued 107 traffic citations, including three for driving on a suspended license or being unlicensed.
Visalia-area man found dead in Three Rivers hotel room
A 47-year-old man was found dead in a motel room in the Three Rivers area Friday evening.
Tulare County sheriff's detectives are calling the death of Gary Lee Canafax suspicious, though no foul play has been detected.
The body of Canafax, who lived in the Visalia area, was found about 7:45 p.m.
Sheriff's deputies did not identify the motel.

Two Fresno County offices close today for furloughs
Two Fresno County offices will be closed today to accommodate staff furloughs and leaves.
The Fresno County Department of Public Health will close most services to the general public, except for mobile food vendor inspections and water-sample dropoffs.
The Fresno County Clerk-Registrar also will be closed to the public today.
Both offices will join other county offices in closing Tuesday for the Cesar Chavez holiday honoring the late United Farm Workers union leader.
