It’s American Craft Beer week.
Without getting into the whole craft- versus big-beer debate (you can travel down that rabbit hole on your own), we will point out these local spots that are celebrating the week and encourage you to check in with your favorite craft beer spot this week.
▪ BC’s Pizza and Beer in Clovis is hosting its seventh annual American Craft Beer Festival. This is for the hardcore beer explorer types.
Look for a massive list of rare and limited release brews over the next two weeks, including Almanac Sunshine and Opportunity and Passion Project, Hangar 24 Pugachev’s Cobra 2015, Founders KBS, House of Pendragon Uther and Wedding Cake, New Glory Lucidium, Belching Beaver Nitro Peanut Butter Latte, Drake’s Hopocolypse Green Label, Highwater Le Petit Diablotin and more.
Never miss a local story.
▪ Rocket Dog Gourmet Brats and Brews is giving discounts on its selection of craft brews. It promises $3.99 on all taps, all week.
▪ Tioga-Sequoia Brewing Company is opening its beer garden every day this week. Its regular beer rotation will be on tap (that sweet Half Dome), along with several specialty brews, including the Tropic Danger Mango Gose. But not that Last JeDIPA, sadly. The downtown brewery also promises some special announcements later this week.
▪ Mad Duck Craft Beer Co. celebrates American Craft Beer Week with several new, small batch releases new beers and special food pairings. For instance, Baby Duck Session IPA paired with Blackened Mahi Mahi. Expect several styles of IPA.
