It’s National Margarita Day, which pays tribute to the most popular cocktail in America.
And on this Thursday, one local restaurant is celebrating Feb. 22 in grand fashion.
Toledo’s Mexican Restaurant, which has four locations in the Fresno area, is holding Happy Hour all day at all of its restaurants.
And that means house margaritas will cost $4.50 for blended drinks and $4.75 for on the rocks.
Never miss a local story.
A 64-ounce margarita pitcher will run $20 ($21 for on the rocks).
And if you’re bored with the traditional margarita taste, the restaurant offers 17 other flavors, including papaya and cucumber (flavors are an additional 50 cents).
Somewhat surprisingly, not many local restaurants were offering drink specials for National Margarita Day.
But there were a handful of establishments that have lowered their price of margaritas for the day.
Papi’s Mex Grill has $5 Patron margaritas and is bringing back its special watermelon margarita.
Casa Corona has lowered its price by $2 during its happy hour times of 3-6 p.m. and 8-10 p.m.
Bobby Salazar’s is taking $1 off but also celebrating happy hour the entire night.
And TGI Friday’s has offers an ultimate margarita for $6.25 during its happy hour times of 3-7 p.m. and 9 p.m. until close.
