Beer tasting in the park happens Saturday, April 25, as part of the Visalia Craft Beer Fest.
From 1-5 p.m. at Mooney Grove Park, you can taste test beers from more than two dozen craft brewers. Breweries include hyper local ones such as Brewbakers Brewing Company in Visalia, Kern River Brewing and Tioga-Sequoia Brewing Company and Full Circle in Fresno. Big names like Firestone Walker and New Belgium will be there, too.
Food will be available for purchase.
The band Whisky Row will entertain with its “yallternative” sound, followed by San Luis Obispo County’s Cuesta Ridge, which offers a blend of bluegrass, rock, country, gypsy jazz and folk.
Tickets cost $30 in advance at Brewbakers and Howie & Son’s Pizza Palour; $40 at the door. Designated drivers cost $10. This is a 21 and older only event.
