A closer look: Tim McGraw returns to the stage performing his biggest hits as well as music from his latest album, "Southern Voice," when "Invitation Only: Tim McGraw" premieres at 9 p.m. Nov. 13 on CMT. Taped earlier this year in Nashville, the special features McGraw performing before a small studio audience, taking questions from fans and giving revealing and candid answers.

McGraw sings "Something Like That," "My Best Friend," and "Cowboy In Me," "Southern Voice" and "You Had To Be There."

During an informal question and answer segment with the audience, McGraw discusses his acting career and also touches on the three big "loves" of his life: family, football and touring.

Headed to sing, sing: This week's edition of the animated series "Batman: The Brave and the Bold," to air at 7:30 p.m. Friday, on the Cartoon Network, will be a musical treat.

The half-hour rock-pop opera "Mayhem of the Music Meister!" features Neil Patrick Harris as an all-new villain -- The Music Meister -- bent on overthrowing Gotham City and the entire world through the power of his beguiling singing voice.

The entire heroic cast joins in the chorus, answering The Music Meister's call with their own singing capabilities, including Jeff Bennett as Batman, Grey Delisle as Black Canary and James Arnold Taylor as Green Arrow.

Start drawing: For 20 years, the artists and writers of "The Simpsons" have labored to create a mix of characters. As part of the "Best 20 Years Ever." celebration, fans have the opportunity to unleash their yellow and make their mark on Springfield history through "The Simpsons Character Contest."

Fans 18 years of age and older will have an opportunity to produce the newest Springfield resident and create the character's traits, including name/nickname, age, appearance, occupation and catchphrases, at thesimpsons.com.

The deadline for submissions is 8:59 p.m. Saturday.

The winning entry will be animated into an episode in January 2010. The grand-prize winner will also receive a trip to Los Angeles to meet with producers and an animator and work with the team to bring the character to life on the small screen.
