While you probably have some trick-or-treating to do, or a party to be at this Halloween weekend - you might be looking for some live music.

If so, you've come to the right place. Here are five Halloween-ish live music options to consider this weekend.

DREAD ZEPPELIN: When you take the music of Led Zeppelin, play it reggae style, then have the singer dress up like Elvis - you get Dread Zeppelin.

That's actually what the SoCal band does normally, not even just for Halloween.

So expect some hijinks Saturday night when it plays at Audie's Olympic, 1426 N. Van Ness Ave., for its Halloween party.

Rasta Pasta is also on the bill. Tickets cost $10 in advance or $15 at the door.

SHONEN KNIFE: All-female Japanese rock band Shonen Knife headlines what promises to be a ghoulish Saturday night at The Cellar Door, 101 W. Main St., Visalia.

Shonen Knife is a veteran act, who has toured with the likes of Nirvana and Sonic Youth.

Beyond the event having some rock cred, it also has horror cred, with the Horror Dolls dance troupe aboard to perform, and the Central Valley Horror Club showing movies.

It starts at 9:30 p.m. Cover is $10.

BABYLON: People will no doubt be wandering the Tower District on Saturday night. And they'll probably be able to hear what's happening at Babylon all the way out on Olive Avenue.

Yes, it's going to be one might night of local rock, with Six Ounce Gloves, Grooveyard, More Than Without and Medium on the bill. Rock on!

SEQUOIA BREWING: Also on the Tower District footpath for Saturday night is Sequoia Brewing Co., which has a costume contest and music from Trey Tosh.

The music starts at 9 p.m., and there's a $5 cover.

Up at Sequoia's Champlain Avenue location, cover band Krossover will be playing for the Halloween crowd. It starts at 9 p.m., and there's no cover.

ALL AGES ROCK PARTIES: Both Club Retro and Kuppajoe are busy with pre-Halloween concerts tonight.

At Kuppajoe, 3673 N. First St., local bands Elmo Marconi, The Notones are playing with Soul Junk and Mane Horse. 7 p.m. $5.

Club Retro, 4450 N. Brawley Ave., has Sacramento rock band Bidwell, plus Sleepwell Darling and Hello, Astronaut. 7 p.m. $10, or $8 with costume.
