Bocelli returning to Fresno for Dec. 10 concert

Superstar vocalist Andrea Bocelli will return to Fresno on Dec. 10 for a Save Mart Center concert.

Bocelli's concert will open Fresno Grand Opera's new season. Season ticket sales for the Grand Opera start at 10 a.m. Sunday, offering the first crack at Bocelli tickets. Those can be purchased at fresnograndopera.org. Details: (559) 442-5699.

If you want to see only Bocelli, tickets go on sale Oct. 26 through Ticketmaster and the Save Mart Center box office.

Bocelli played the first concert at the Save Mart Center in November 2003. He returned in December 2005. As in 2005, this year's show will have a holiday theme, as Bocelli is about to release a new CD, "My Christmas."

Friday, The Save Mart Center also announced that the Harlem Globetrotters and the Professional Bull Riders will be back in 2010.

The Harlem Globetrotters bring their trick shots and showmanship back to the arena on Jan. 13. Tickets go on sale Oct. 21, costing $20-$102.

The bull riders of PBR are in Fresno for two nights, March 19-20. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Oct. 23.

Tickets will be available at the Save Mart Center box office, at Ticketmaster locations, including many Save Mart supermarkets, online at ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000.
