Comic Dane Cook will make his Fresno debut in October.

Cook’s “Isolated Incident: Global Thermo Comedy Tour” will play Save Mart Center on Oct. 23, with tickets going on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. They cost $31.75, $61.75 and $101.75.

Cook, 37, leapt to stand-up fame in 2003 behind his comedy album “Harmful If Swallowed,” ensuing cable specials and a feverish online following.

After his stand-up career took off, Cook turned toward movies, snagging starring roles in “Employee of the Month,” “Good Luck Chuck” and “My Best Friend’s Girl.”

Tickets will be available at the Save Mart Center box office, at Ticketmaster locations, including many Save Mart supermarkets, online at ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000.

The Game at Tachi

Rapper The Game has replaced Soulja Boy on the bill for the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino’s annual car show and concert on Sept. 6.

Soulja Boy canceled after a scheduling conflict. The Game, who had a 2007 concert at Save Mart Center canceled, will be performing in the central San Joaquin Valley for the first time. Tickets are on sale now through tickets.com and cost $25 and $95.

Paulina Rubio added

Table Mountain Casino has added some Latin flavor to its upcoming concert schedule. Crossover Latin/pop vocalist Paulina Rubio will perform Oct. 5. Tickets cost $15-$35 and go on sale Aug. 31.

Here comes Caillat

Warnors Theatre has scored a date with pop singer Colbie Caillat.

Caillat released her sophomore album, “Breakthrough” this week. She will perform in Fresno on Sept. 19 with Howie Day also on the bill.

Ticket prices and an on-sale date have not been announced yet.

Caldwell does Visalia

Jazz/soul Crooner Bobby Caldwell is scheduled for a Nov. 21 date at the Visalia Fox Theatre. Tickets cost $20-$50 and are on sale now at the Fox box office or though vallitix.com. The concert also celebrates the 10-year anniversary of The Fox’s re-opening, with proceeds going to the theater.
