Roy and Silo, two male penguins living at the Central Park Zoo were so determined to be parents they built a nest and incubated a rock. In Emily Freeman’s “And Then Came Tango,” a play for young audiences based on true events, the penguins are given an orphaned egg that would have perished otherwise, and they successfully raise a baby. Fresno State’s Theatre for Young Audiences program, under the direction of J. Daniel Herring, has been touring the show to area schools. Now the general public gets a chance to see it, too. Seats are first-come, first-served, so arrive early.
