Earth Wind & Fire is a hall of fame band. They’ve been inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Vocal Group Hall of Fame. Five of its members have been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. The band even has a star on the Walk of Fame.
Larry Dunn played organ, synthesizer, piano, keyboards and Clavinet in the band from 1972 until 1983, and he served as its musical director, helping to create the band’s stage performances, which included writing any of the musical segues between songs.
While Dunn now performs as a solo artist, his band plays many of the hits from the Earth Wine & Fire catalog.
