Actor/writer Kevin Foster will present his film, "Yesterday's Dreams," at 4 and 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Visalia Fox Theatre.
Foster, who wrote the script for the 2005 feature film, will talk about some of the behind-the-scenes events that at one point made him want to change the title to "Yesterday's Nightmare."
"Yesterday's Dreams" is the story of a 40-year-old man who lives with his alcoholic father (William Windom) but wants to meet a woman, settle down and raise a family.
Christie Lynn Smith, Dee Wallace Stone and Orson Bean also star.
Admission is free, but donations for the Smile Train will be accepted at the door. Smile Train is a nonprofit organization that has trained more than 25,000 doctors who have repaired cleft lips and palates for more than 500,000 children in more than 75 countries.
In the running: Clovis West graduate Jeff Adolph is one of four finalists in the short film screenplay contest at the Eerie Horror Film Festival and Expo. He wrote his entry, "Scream Queen," for the Pennsylvania horror festival under the pen name Robert Youngblood.
The winner will be named this weekend.
