Christina Musson has been named co-host for “Broeske & Musson,” the 9-11 a.m. show on Newstalk 580 and KMJ (105.9 FM). The news/talk show she’s co-hosting with John Broeske launched Monday, Jan. 26.
Musson has been KMJ’s executive producer since 2009. Her work history also includes Fresno’s FOX 26 and CBS47, plus KAPP in Yakima, Washington.
She replaces Jennifer Lipp, who left Fresno in late October. Lipp moved to Arkansas, where her husband has taken a job.
“We tried out dozens of potential co-hosts for John, but we only needed to look down the hall for the perfect answer,” says KMJ program director Blake Taylorin a news release to announce the move.
Never miss a local story.
Broeske returned to the KMJ airwaves two years ago. He had previously served as KMJ’s program director until his retirement in 2007. Musson says she grew up listening to KMJ and the co-hosting slot is a “dream come true.”
