UPDATE: Congratulations to winner Terry Thiel.
ORIGINAL POST: If you’re a theater fan and make it through this summer without seeing the exemplary StageWorks Fresno production of “The Who’s Tommy,” you’re really missing out. Here’s my review. I highly recommend the show. And it closes Sunday!
There’s a Thursday performance this week, at 7:30 p.m., and I’m happy to offer two tickets to a lucky Beehive reader.
To enter, leave a comment below answering this question: What’s your favorite song by The Who? (If you don’t know, just say “Acid Queen.” Camille Gaston will be happy.)
Please, please, don’t enter unless you can use the tickets. The performance at the Dan Pessano Theatre (right next to the Shaghoian Hall) at Clovis North.
This is a quick turnaround: Deadline is 8 a.m. Thursday. One comment/entry per person, please. The winner will be chosen at random and notified via email or Facebook message. The tickets will be available for the winner at the box office. Be sure to check your email around 8 a.m. Thursday to see if you’re a winner.
Also, for those who can’t get a free ticket, be aware that StageWorks is running a special promotion for Thursday night’s show: Buy One, Get One Free. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to get tickets.
