One of the interesting things about animation is how often there are no physical similarities between the voice talent and their on-screen character.
That contrast struck me when Elijah Wood walked into the small conference room at the DisneyToon Studios. The actor -- best known for his role in all three of the "Lord of the Rings" films -- stands just 5 feet, 6 inches. He might be scrappy, but Wood doesn't have enough weight on him to make it appear that he would be a physical threat. Read more →May 16

That's what KGPE (Channel 47.1) and KFTV (Channel 21.1) are doing. The local CBS and Univision stations are combining forces to "Stamp Out Hunger" during the one-day food drive on May 12. Read more →April 17

When you see James Van Der Beek playing himself in the new ABC comedy "Don't Trust the B**** in Apt 23," just know it was a long and laborious audition process to finally land the role of the friend.
"I auditioned against six other James Van Der Beeks for this role. I was lucky that four of them were not actors, and two of them didn't speak English. So by default, it was me," Van Der Beek jokes. "We came up with this character. By episode three, I thought it bore less resemblance to me, which just made it even more fun." Read more →April 11
