The Bee recommends the following for the state propositions on the ballot:

Proposition 1A: Limits state spending and extends tax increases - Vote YES

Proposition 1B: Provides supplemental payments to schools to compensate for budget cuts - Vote NO

Proposition 1C: Modernizes lottery and allows state to borrow money from lottery - Vote YES

Proposition 1D: Transfers nearly $1.7 billion from First 5 early childhood development programs to help balance state budget - Vote YES

Proposition 1E: Transfers $460 million from mental health services to help balance state budget - Vote YES

Proposition 1F: Prevents legislators and other state elected officials from receiving pay raises if state budget ends the fiscal year in a deficit - Vote YES

  7. Follow the law. Don't do anything or post anything considered illegal by city, county, state or federal regulations and laws.
