Giants star pitcher and reigning NL Cy Young Award winner Tim Lincecum was reportedly cited for speeding and caught with marijuana and paraphernalia last week.

According to a report in The Columbian, Lincecum is facing misdemeanor charges and is scheduled to be arraigned on November 23 in Clark County District Court.

The report states that when Lincecum was originally pulled over for speeding on I-5, the state trooper smelled marijuana and seized 3.3 grams of the drug and a pipe. He was then cited and released.

After winning the 2008 NL Cy Young Award, Lincecum is once again a top contender for the 2009 award after going 15-7 with a 2.47 earned run average and 261 strikeouts.
