Everton are one of a number of Premier League clubs being linked with an interest in Argentinean midfielder Fabian Rinaudo.

The 21-year-old currently plays in his homeland with Gimnasia LP, but is being readied for a move to Europe in the not-too-distant future.

His UK representative, Barry McIntosh, told Sky Sports: "There are a number of clubs who are becoming very keen on Fabian, I can confirm that.

"Fabian is emerging as one of the best young midfielders in Argentina and it is little surprise he is catching the eye.

"I can only say the interest in the Premier League is strong, but I cannot name individual clubs at this point.

"Rinaudo is going to be in demand come the summer, especially as he could very well make it into Argentina's World Cup squad."
