Three-year-old filly Rachel Alexandra, currently on vacation until 2010, remains in first-place in the weekly NTRA Thoroughbred Poll. The winner of all eight starts this year received 18 of 20 first-place votes.

Owned by Stonestreet Stables and Harold McCormick, 'Rachel' has 189 points, 15 more than champion mare Zenyatta. However, unlike the five-year-old, 'Rachel' will not run in this year's Breeders' Cup at Santa Anita Park.

Zenyatta and three-year-old colt Summer Bird each received one first-place vote. The mare keeps her second-place spot with 174 points and Summer Bird remains in third with 168 points.

Turf runner Gio Ponti remains in fourth with Einstein holding on to the fifth spot. Careless Jewel moves back into the sixth spot followed by Zensational, Ventura and Quality Road. Moving into tenth is six-year-old turf runner Presious Passion.
