Walt Disney Company, the parent company of the "Baby Einstein" child development DVDs, is offering refunds to any parent who purchased the DVDs between June 5, 2004 and Sept. 5, 2009.
Disney will refund $15.99 for up to four "Baby Einstein" DVDs as a response to civil litigation by the group, Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood, which argues that the DVDs make false promises to educate children.
The Walt Disney Company says the refunds are just an extension of their regular policy, but customers do not have to provide a receipt.
