DeMarre Carroll scored 18 points and secured eight rebounds, as the Memphis Grizzlies earned a 95-92 win over the Charlotte Bobcats in the final preseason tuneup for both teams.

Zach Randolph posted 16 points and eight boards for the Grizzlies, who begin their regular season schedule at home against Detroit on October 28.

Rookie Sam Young notched 13 points in the win, while Marcus Williams scored 11 and dished out five assists.

Raymond Felton scored 15 points and added four helpers for the Bobcats, who open the season next Wednesday in Boston. Boris Diaw checked in with 14 points and Derrick Brown had 11 points in defeat.

Gerald Wallace posted game-highs of nine rebounds, four steals and four blocks while scoring 10 points for Charlotte.
