Hearing on Johnson-Klein payments postponed
A judge postponed a hearing this afternoon on a tentative ruling that would allow Fresno State to spread out payments to former women's basketball coach Stacy Johnson-Klein.
Judge Donald S. Black asked attorneys for each side to provide additional information no later than May 23. Warren Paboojian, Johnson-Klein's attorney, is contesting a ruling that granted Fresno State's motion to spread half the amount a jury awarded Johnson-Klein in her gender discrimination suit against the school over a 10-year period.
Paboojian contends the university missed the deadline for filing.
