He’s qualified because: Leaves for Nebraska as one of the section’s most decorated distance runners, a state cross country champion and state fifth-place finisher in the 3,200. He ranks seventh all time in the section with a school-record 8:59.81. He’s also 17th in section history with a 4:14.86 1,600.
