Age: 44

Occupation: Senior laboratory dirt washer.

Hobbies: Moving, baseball card hoarding, perfecting the art of saying "yes, dear" to my wife, hitting golf balls at Hank Swank's on an early Sunday morning.

Bee reader since: From as early as I can remember reading at all.

How many letters: 24 since 2002.

Favorite topics: Stupidity and the people who rely on others to tell them what to think.

Why do you write? It's easier on the vocal cords than shouting.

Reaction to letters: Obviously, everyone loves what I have to say since I get no negative responses from other letter writers.

Excerpt from recent letter: "Just what the heck is going on with the McInsaniacs? Are they completely imploding as they watch their candidate fall further and further behind in the polls? Or have they entered their final push to put party before country? ... Can't argue Sen. Obama's policies? Then roll out fear without foundation and ignore the law."

Topic that doesn't get enough attention: Most everything gets more than is warranted, but not enough that's representative and factual.

Education: Hardcore Fresno State dropout, because it interfered with my escapism lifestyle at the time.

Family: Big, loud, loving and energetic. And just flatout weird.

Political philosophy: Irritated, most of the time, because most people I know or whose letters I read don't do their homework before spouting off. How hard is it to spend 10 minutes online to make sure what you're saying is actually true and defensible?
