Why do you write? To voice my opinion so that others may read it and think, then agree or disagree with me.

Reaction to letters: Those who know me mostly agree with my letters because I say and write what they would like to.

Excerpt from recent letter: "When you are in the political world, you have little or no privacy. Your life belongs to the people you represent, and you live in a fish bowl for everyone to see.

"Good luck to any people running for office to represent the people without understanding what life will become the day after they make the decision to run for office.

"If you can't stand the heat, remove yourself from the kitchen."

Topic that doesn't get enough attention: There are too many topics that get too much attention and none get the degree of attention that is needed or required to make the difference that it should.

Education: Attended college.

Family: Parents are deceased. I have extended family and friends.

Political philosophy: Take time to study issues for a better understanding before you vote on them and hold your representatives responsibile for their actions. We are the leaders, they only represent us.
