Why do you write? To share in the discourse with fellow citizens and to get people to think about the issues by using the right of freedom of speech, which is protected by the First Amendment.

Education: Associate degree, Los Angeles Valley College; bachelor's degree (history/social studies), California State University, Northridge; Life Time Teaching Credential; master's degree, Public Administration, California State University, Fresno; Administrative General Services Credential; Ed.D. Degree, Public Administration, University of Southern California.

Family: Married to Carol for 16 years, one child, six grandchildren, a niece and nephew, two Siamese cats and a great dog!

Political philosophy: Constitutionalist in my thinking. Ronald Reagan was correct when he stated, "Government is not the solution; government is the problem!"
