3 more cars torched in Contra Costa; 14 total

Three more vehicles have been torched in an area of Contra Costa County that has already seen 11 vehicles go up in flames.

Authorities say the first of the latest three fires was ignited Saturday night in front of a house in El Sobrante. Two more vehicles were torched minutes apart early Sunday morning in Richmond.

Richmond Police Lt. Manjit Sappal says investigators are trying to determine whether the fires are linked to six blazes last Wednesday that consumed 11 vehicles.

Police believe last week's fires were set by the same person. They have a vague description from a witness of a man walking from the last fire in that series.

No one has been injured in any of the blazes.
