Important guests?

11/08/09 00:31:46

The “star-studded visit list” of the White House [story Oct. 31] included 22 visits by labor leader and Obama supporter Andrew Stern, president of the Service Employees International Union. At least seven visits were with President Obama. During the same time, the president met only once with Gen. Stanley McChrystal! What is wrong with this picture?

So in the spirit of the highly promised transparency, can anyone tell me where on the White House Web site I can find the details of the discussions during the 22 visits with the SEIU president? It must have been extremely important, so we should all know about them!

Maybe Gen. McChrystal should put his name on the “star-studded visit list” to get his turn with the president and an answer to his troop request.

Unbelievable!
